The student journey

The path to college isn’t one decision. It’s a series of them.

Students face different academic decisions as they move through school. G3 helps families understand what matters at each stage, how priorities evolve, and how today’s choices can support future opportunities.

02

Make thoughtful decisions around courses, activities, academic priorities, interests, and the student’s developing direction.

03

SAT Readiness

04

College Planning

Turn years of academic development and preparation into a more intentional admissions process with clearer priorities and decisions.

Our programs

The G3 approach

Build the skills. Strengthen the habits. Learn the strategy.

Strong performance requires more than knowledge alone. G3 focuses on three elements that work together throughout a student’s academic journey.

Skills

Students need the academic foundation to understand material, solve problems, communicate clearly, and do the work independently.

Habits

Practice, organization, accountability, and effective routines help students turn knowledge into more consistent performance.

Strategy

Students also need to know how and when to apply what they know — in school, on the SAT, and throughout the college process.

Skills. Habits. Strategy. Together, they shape the way G3 helps students prepare for future academic challenges and opportunities.

How G3 works

A structured process. A personal experience.

Every student is different. The process should be intentional rather than one-size-fits-all.

01

Understand

We begin with the student’s goals, strengths, challenges, timeline, and — when appropriate — diagnostic information.

02

Plan

We identify priorities and recommend the program, structure, pace, and support that make the most sense.

03

Work

Students move through structured instruction, practice, feedback, reinforcement, and personalized support.

04

Adjust

As needs change and results provide new information, we adjust priorities and help determine how the student should move forward.

Family perspective

Support families describe as structured, personal, and clear.

“With G3’s help, my daughter got into her top-choice school and was ready to apply by September of senior year. It made all the difference.”

Our story

Built around a simple idea: students need more than answers.

For 15 years, G3 Academy has helped students develop the skills, habits, strategies, and structure they need to make meaningful academic progress. That approach shapes our work across Academic Tutoring, SAT Prep, and College Admissions.

Different services. One principle: understand the student, build the right plan, and help them move forward with purpose.

Questions families often ask

A few answers to help you find the right starting point.

How do we know which G3 service is the right place to start?

Start with the student’s current need. SAT Prep is designed for standardized-test preparation, Academic Tutoring supports school performance and subject mastery, and College Admissions focuses on the broader college-planning and application process. If the answer is not obvious, contact our team and we will help identify the right starting point.

When should a student start preparing for the SAT?

Many students begin SAT preparation during the summer before junior year or early in junior year. Starting early provides time to identify weaknesses, build skills, practice consistently, and leave room for additional official test dates when appropriate.

What is the difference between Academic Tutoring and SAT Prep?

Academic Tutoring focuses on the knowledge, skills, and habits students need for school coursework. SAT Prep is specifically designed around the content, structure, timing, strategy, and demands of the SAT. A student may need one, the other, or sometimes both.

When should families start thinking about college admissions?

College preparation develops throughout high school. Course selection, academic performance, activities, interests, and experiences can all influence the application a student eventually presents. The formal process becomes more intensive later in high school, but thoughtful planning can begin earlier.

Does G3 work with students online?

Yes. Selected G3 services are available online or in hybrid formats depending on the program and the student’s needs. In-person support remains preferred for some programs and situations.

Where can families work with G3?

G3 has physical locations in Key Biscayne, Weston, and Guatemala City, with selected online and hybrid options also available.

What grades does G3 work with?

G3 works with students across all grade levels. Because students at different ages and academic levels need different kinds of support, we begin by understanding the student’s current needs, goals, and starting point, then build support around the appropriate priorities, pace, and academic level.

Can a student work with G3 across more than one service?

Yes. Students may work with G3 at different stages of their academic journey. A student may begin with Academic Tutoring, later prepare for the SAT, and eventually work with our College Admissions Program (CAP). Each service is recommended based on what the student needs at that point; families do not need to enroll in multiple services.
